About INSTACAM

Our mission

INSTACAM started as a small product idea in 2023: make online знакомств feel less mechanical and more like real conversation. We wanted to remove the endless swiping loop and help people get to a genuine live chat faster.

Today our goal is simple: give adults a place where they can connect quickly, set their own boundaries, and feel in control from the first minute.

What we focus on

We focus on three things every week: better match quality, stronger safety tools, and a smoother first-session experience. Most product updates are based on direct feedback from support tickets and session ratings.

In practical terms, this means less friction during onboarding, clearer profile controls, and quick actions like block, mute, and report on every chat screen.

Community standards

Respect is non-negotiable on INSTACAM. We do not allow harassment, intimidation, scams, or repeated boundary violations. When a report is confirmed, we remove content and may permanently restrict accounts.

Our moderation combines automated detection with human review. During the last quarter, median response time for priority safety reports was 37 minutes.

A note from the team

We are a compact distributed team of designers, engineers, and trust-and-safety specialists working across UTC+1 to UTC+4. We are not perfect, but we ship improvements continuously and listen closely to user feedback.

If something feels off in the product, tell us. Many of our best improvements came from short, honest messages from users.
